Although there's an excellent deal of empirical
evidence that homœopathy does work,
nobody yet knows how. those that are
sceptical means that homœopathic
remedies are often so dilute that not even a
molecule of the first substance remains
and so conclude that any beneficial
response is perhaps thanks to the placebo
effect. This explanation seems unlikely as
experiments have shown homœopathic
medicines to be equally effective within the
treatment of animals.
The answer to the present mystery is probably going to be
found by those studying physics
and electro-magnetism. the assembly of
homœopathic medicines involves two
processes: dilution and succussion (shaking
and striking against a surface). It is
thought likely that these combined
processes leave an imprint of the first
substance’s energy pattern within the dilutant.
This energy imprint, given in homœopathic
medicine, somehow stimulates the body’s
own healing energy to start out working
